Another (brief) mention of anthracite...which makes you appreciate the resource base ZYL is proving up. Just another confirmation that if you are looking to buy anthracite, make sure you've got ZYL's phone number entered in your contact list.
Other than that, the article seems somewhat dated...and you have to differentiate between met coal and thermal coal. Seems to me that there is plenty of thermal coal around (just look at the Waterberg region in South Africa, east Africa and the Surat basin in Queensland...plenty of thermal coal that is yet to be developed). Then you have gas being found almost everywhere, turbo boosted by the shalengas revolution. So, for thermal coal, there question really seems to be how much of this abundant thermal coal resource can be economically developed?
I'm happy to stick with anthracite....it's scarcity will work in our favor IMHO.
