Yes, I know about zinc battery. It is faster charging and more stable than lithium. There are several Tesla cars burnt in flames during charging.
What UK is trial at moment is building wireless charging along the highway so you can drive 100km/hr while charging. With zinc battery it will charge faster so much cheaper to build wireless zinc charging than lithium charging (which will require much further wireless charging distance). This means we don't really need that much lithium anymore while so many companies move into lithium mining, it will be oversupply and zinc under-supply.
