Saw a tray of Yowie's in our novelty lolly shop in Williamstown, Vic last night.
The lady said she had sold two trays of 12 in the last 48 hours, at $5.50 each, so selling really well.
Sold to parents who remembered them from when they were last around, and buying them for their kids.
At $5.50 seems like far too much for them and hardly something parents are going to want to shelve out for ongoing, so the retailer must have a pretty high margin on them.
I would think a more sustainable price is around $4.
At least they have hit a new market now in Aus, hopefully sales continue to go from strength to strength.
