Hi all, new to the forum and new to the markets. I'm an Accountant by trade and I'm seeking guidance/advice from anyone willing to give it. I come from a learning that value/growth investing, not trading (speculating), is the only way to consistently make good returns. I see on this forum clearly that is not the case. So, before I hunker down for a few months reading and constructing an investment plan based value investing, I'm hoping to hear from you, in your experience what has and hasn't work for you, and why? Be it charting, day trading, investing, shorting, algorithms, forex or commodities. I'm open to new learnings and look forward to your input. Cheers
