That's very funny MikS and perfectly illustrates the flaws in taking too seriously any valuation you have on a company which includes brokers forecasts. I use current broker forecasts in my valuations most of the time, I just don't take my valuations too seriously, more as a rough guide.

What was it Mr Buffett said about Wall st analysts,

"Wall st is the only place that people who ride to work in a Rolls Royce go to get advice from those who take the subway."

I noticed also that whilst the current forecasts have risen to 55c of earnings FY2012 earnings are still at 58c.

This consensus will not last long either given that Henderson is very nearing completion and then manufacturing capabilities will increase dramatically.
