The Directors of Oil Basins Limited (OBL, ASX codes OBL and OBLOB, or the Company)
wish to make the following ASX announcement to keep the market fully informed.
The WA Department of Mines and Petroleum (DMP) has confirmed to the Company after the
close of trading yesterday that the Grant of Derby Block (formerly 5/07-8EP) as Permit EP
487 (refer to Figure 1), has been made for a period of 6 years (commencing 14 March 2014
and finishing 13 March 2020).

EP 487 is a prospective hydrocarbon address for wet Laurel USG
The Company will advise the market on ownership and other related matters in due course.”
