Well said applesanddiamonds. The company at the AGM explained exactly what is going on. Mapama has received 41 of 43 submissions re the environmental permit and once the other 2 are in a decision should follow soon after. Some within the company are hopeful it will be granted 2017 but it is more likely to be early 2018. I am led to believe there have been no new issues brought up which havent been addressed before which is a very positive sign . In the past 6 months potash has risen 11% which if in production today Highfield would be making close to $US 145 per tonne which is in the lowest third of cost curve in potash producers. Anyone blaming the company for the delays needs to sit back and take a deep breath, its entirely in the hands of Mapama and we know the pace at which the Spanish Government work.I still believe once the permits are granted a takeover bid is a near certainty. This project has so much promise with a lot of the resource still untapped. Most of us have been waiting for at least 2 years for the permit and subsequent payday..It should be just around the corner. With the amount of work the mine will generate and boost a flailing economy this is a no brainer to be given the green light. For the patient the rewards will follow.
