If AGO's offer was never made how long would it have taken GIR to get to todays sp? The value is in the offer and the immediate effect it has had on GIR's sp.
Disclosure: I hold AGO and the synergies of a combined AGO & GIR are vast. A friendly acquisition that adds value to all shareholders inmho.
