I agree.
I think the Malaysian MPs have Lynas by the balls.
They might not shut the LAMP down but they will squeeze the situation for every cent.
Export waste costings. Licence renewal condition additions. New tax regime. New environmental standards.Who knows what they could try next given the illogical activity we have seen.
They have an open slather here and given Lynas is so close to the bone in profit could significantly affect costs and debt.
Japanese may be the eventual saviours but against the Chinese undercurrent would they maybe also stand back and realise the LAMP is simply in the wrong spot and needs to be moved to safety. Which unfortunately would undo the company in many ways. They might even chose to disband and start up their own venture and LAMP to service their needs. Why not. Makes some sense to me given what they are now witnessing.
