re: sabotage at newstan - roidz
Izalokar, As far as supplying power for the desalination plant etc you must remember that NSW still sells power across the borders so coal supplies are not really an issue. The greenies however could be troublesome because back when we were owned by the state government the one thing that would have kept awaba open was the open cut but it was always considered too politically sensitive i guess now we will see just how sensitive it really is. As far as Newstan being out of the fault zones as Mr Cameron would have the market believe we are not there yet 300 mtrs in front is a seam roll at over 8 mtrs we have never been thru anything that big so it will be interesting. As far as the last fault was concerned and his comment that nothing like it was seen for decades was rubbish! we lost half a wall for over18 months back in 95 and had to cut another wall short and dig it out in 98 must be short term memory loss. And we are back pumping NO2 because of high gas levels again. So in a nutshell thats the state of the nation.
