As long as ETC obtains $40mil in NPAT for FY'09, I will count that as a win. I am not expecting $48mil NPAT if the AUD$ surges and stays here for the remainder of the FY.

As I have mentioned before, you need to be patient on this stock. Investors with a time frame of more than 6 months on this stock can hold and ride out the volatility.

60 days ago, you only had 2 brokers covering the stock...... Lodge Partners and foresight securities. RBS Morgans just recently covered the stock, hence there are bound to be adjustments to the 30 Days consensus estimates you showed above. An averaging down of estimates does not constitute a downgrade. It just means someone else has entered into the fray (causes an averaging of numbers).

There may be a possible downgrade on the back of currency and the timing of receipt of cash, however they are a totally different issue to the numbers you have shown.

As I've mentioned always, this stock boils down to receipt of cashflows in the short term. receipt of cashflow = confidence in company.
