It's too early to call any trend for the US download numbers, however I would comment that they have not featured in or near the top 1000 since the new pricing was released earlier this year, apart from a couple of times in October and then more recently in about a week ago, which is encouraging.

I recall from their original Investor preso that the US represented ~12% of sales, which indicates that the US market is so huge that they don't have to be very high in the rankings to make a significant difference to revenue.

I'll be keeping a close eye on the numbers, and will let you know if a trend establishes.
