I don't know if Crabel had studied Wyckoff analysis, but he obviously understood some Wyckoff principles, especially the 'hinge', and LP Supply & LP Support.
In particular the 2bar & 3bar, as well as the NR4, NR5, NR7 & especially the ID/NR4 set ups, which all fit pretty well with typical Wyckoff principles.
I do note that these setups Crabel tested, did not have an expected direction, but suggested that a strong move one way or the other could be expected.
(using wyckoff style horizontal S&R along with some trend lines and the overall trend, can often help with the probabilities of direction here as well.......)
Perhaps I should put these rules into a spreadsheet, and test them for myself for a while......
