To be frank, from your results, posts etc I would have assumed that your TA was strong and that you had been using it for many years. I guess to be upfront, some people are quicker learners than others. For example it takes me a longer time to absorb and reflect on new information I think. Then again, according to Behavioural Finance Specialists, they state that as humans the most new pieces of information that we can absorb is apparently only 5 chunks. I was somewhat surprised by this finding. That is why HVA, High Value Actions, are gold imo. Like you mentioned above, an example of this HVA is how you "write down why and then write notes after I've sold to analyse what I could have done better next time." All of the top traders I know do exactly that. Reflection when out of the battle can be quite revealing where the tweaks need to be made.
I have always maintained that one can be a gun TA analyst or Gun FA analyst, but if you are not a gun trader then there will be trouble. That is why again HVA can overcome any shortfalls for those in the above category. If your trading system is purely mechanical ie if x conditions are met the trigger is pulled, and if x conditions occur then the trigger is pulled. That is why I am a fan of HVA.
So if you are keen, lets keep the lines of comm open and see how we can both widen our knowledge of VSA combined with some Wyckoff thrown in for good measure. under the watchful eyes of Jako..Ps He posted a pic of himself today. Just head over to his test forum...you will see him sitting down looking pretty relaxed. Must of had a rewarding day in the markets.....
lPS lol 2 days, as i said, I thought you were a quick learner...perhaps you should get rid of the heart and put a L plate on it then.....
Cheers

No TA gun here that's for sure. I went from no knowledge at all 6 months ago to a really good basic understanding. To be honest even the basic understanding has increased my profits much more substantially than I would have anticipated. It's definitely improved my entries and exits which has made a huge difference.
From a purely TA perspective though when I have a go at trading very small parcels to test myself (purely from what i see in the chart) I'm not doing to well. That's what I'm trying to improve here.
Let's definitely keep the lines of communication open as we can all benefit from learning from each other. I have one condition only..... no more photos of Jako
