No, head N shoulders (tops or bottoms), cup N handle, or any of the other geometric patterns are not really VSA or Wyckoff at all.

That said, they can be helpful at times, so no need to completely toss them away, just make sure you actually know the correct interpretation of the patterns that you are using though........Thomas Bulkowski's books on chart patterns can be helpful in this area of analysis, they cover all the different types of valid chart patterns, their correct interpretation, and importantly their success rates.
