Ummm, no
Strangely, I find Wyckoff simplistic and logical, and Elliott as conplex and perhaps mystical.....
From what @Wayward1 would say, and the small amount I understand, Elliott wave Theory is really great for understanding price structure.
The wave counts not so much.....although perhaps using longer term charts for the counts has some merit, and may be more consistent.
Interestingly, two of my favourite Educators in Wyckoff and VSA, were both very serious Elliott practitioners, and interestingly both spent time as Editors of the Elliott wave newsletter in their country.
David Weis, as editor of the USA Elliott wave newsletter, worked alongside Robert Prechter (in the same office), and also wrote an extensive book on Elliott wave Theory - "Trading with the Elliott wave principle - A practical guide".
and Phillip Friston was the editor of the UK Elliott wave newsletter.
Both eventually gave up their Elliott wave analysis in frustration, and became very successful and profitable Wyckoff (David Weis) , and VSA (Philip Friston) converts.
Both now have books on Wyckoff and VSA available, and rarely discuss Elliott Theory at all.
cheers
