Looks like a short covering was triggered today,
probably because there may not be a capital raising now (which may have been planned for covering existing short positions),
so there was a bit of a scramble for stock (which might go on for a few day's).
I expect once the news came out, this event may also be used to allow some 'long' holders to 'get out'.......we'll see....
