I checked the thread, and saw these two posts
25.4 million AWE shares traded on ASX and Chi-x today or about 4.5% of the company.
Most of the 22.879 million on ASX were after 4PM which I missed.
Did someone dump tens of millions in the auction?
A rough tally of the after 4PM volume on the ASX shows around 18.5 million shares traded!
Yes etherazer , there were big bids and offers in the auction , a few million each line across the match
I haven't seen an EV to 2 p reserve for a producer this low since the nadir of the GFC when COE traded below cash for a couple of months . This would be an absolute steal for a BPT but even cheaper for an overseas company bidding with USD
Don't know if it's the bottom but these levels are ridiculous.
I don't know if it was someone dumping an accumulated position or what was going on, but the trading is a bit sus, no matter how it sliced or diced.......
cheers

I remember this one now, there's a mob called Dawney trying to acquire a free call option over 19.9% of issued shares - their intention is to offload to an unnamed 3rd party. There's also Norges Bank working through JP Morgan & Citicorp with their sub holder notices full of collateral transactions - stock being borrowed and returned.
The waters are muddy on this one.
