Given the 424 down wave vs 130 down wave isnt this heavy effort vs reward and potential bag holding by the operators ?
yes, you are right, there was enough effort to create a new low, so there was an element of support in there no doubt.
Judging on the 424 wave down, what makes you think its professionals unloading and not professionals mopping up stock from retail.
I don't know for sure, I am just speculating.....
Just watching the price action of many charts over the years, I know that normally after a sharp shakeout and successful test like that, price will rarely come all the way back to the lows of the shakeout again, unless something is going wrong. And after that 424 down, the price action became messy with overlapping levels (which was another clue). Which is why I wondered if something sector wide had caused it ?? because it looked like it shouldn't have been there......
Anyway, I could be totally wrong, and it was just an unexpected hiccup......it was just something that stood out and concerned me.....remember in the real world, thing don't always go test book smoothly.
cheers
