No no not at all....it was a good well thought out trade @barret81 you should be proud.
You saw a principle within the price action, at a level of previous support, and took advantage of it, being fully aware of the risk involved.
Yes, a quick little bounce trade within a potential supply vacuum....very nice.
One mil in the last half hour is a substantial amount if it was all traded on market, no doubt.......if there is a sharp spike in intraday volumes and it is worth at least 200k, I'll look into it further (generally the more the better, so long as it is all traded on market).
Sometimes in illiquid stocks I see what looks like large volume spikes, but they are only worth small amounts of less than 100k, or I see very large volume on a certain day, which are just the reporting of off market cross trades.....neither interest me much at all.
I only pointed out the risks in your trade for the other readers of this thread, as I didn't want any newbie traders attempting to 'catch a falling knife' without good reason.
