This thread is a treasure trove of great information for anyone prepared to start at the beginning and presents a way into a calm, logical approach to understanding market behaviour that works well with fundamental analysis or on its own. Jako's untiring thoughtfulness and advice along with the guided tour of a certain iron ore stock in the 2000s, as well as the input from the other posters make it a worthwhile read. There are links to a lot of information where you can expand your understanding such as the VSA club where you can find a tonne of webinars with Williams, Friston, Mamby and Holmes. Even though I prefer more of a straight Wyckoff approach, the information on VSA was worth studying and you don't need to spend a lot or buy expensive software. There are also videos in the archive with David Weis and information about his approach to Point and Figure for those who are interested and other stuff from Dayton and Fullett. There's a lot of information out there about Wyckoff's methodology and with anything that's a challenge, sometimes it isn't finding the best way to do something so much as finding a teacher that communicates in a way that works for you.
