Potential Stopping Volume - has that name because it is likely that enough volume (as support) has entered the stock to Stop a down trend, and knock the instrument sideways.
Now on that stock (NWZ), I consider the next day was also a buying event (they must have bought the majority of the offer stack) before leaving it to its own devices.
So together, they will be stronger, which may push it into a stronger position than just stopping volume.
