Totally agree - reading a chart and trading are two very different skill sets and imo the latter is probably the more important of the two (real world application is always more challenging than theory). I can see why at an insto level they would separate those tasks.

I have to acknowledge I am better at charts & analysis than trading, which is why I have sought out a trading coach/mentor. While HC has been a great resource for a range of reasons unfortunately I haven't gotten out of it what I would expect from a one on one relationship with a coach/mentor - something I am used to in my sporting/athletic pursuits.
