I decided to buy more shares today in WWI. I read and re-read all the announcements since WWI bought Derewo. I also searched the internet for hours getting whatever information I could about Papua and Derewo. Found a lot of interesting articles and reports and I reckon once WWI are sorted with the illegals which should be soon I think, this stock will fly. I like the fact that WWI are doing everything by the book. Papua being part of Indonesia is rife with corruption but is slowly improving. I have visited the Country many times and I do know you can get anything you want by paying bribes but it soon catches up with you and thus this is the reason I believe WWI are taking so long to clear the illegals. WWI are not giving into corruption or bribes and this can only be good for the company going forward. Once any company is found to be involved with Corruption or bribes, basically the Indonesian Govt will not deal with them. WWI will not admit this in their announcements I am sure but common sense tells me this would most likely be the current issue. I might be wrong but I dont think so. I do know of a few Aussie companies (mining companies) in trouble because they gave into Bribes and then were found out.
