My reading of the 50:50 profit sharing terms are such that WWI doesn't have to spend money on capex or opex, rather, the contractor who carries out all the works/transports the ore to the plant, etc, takes a 50% cut. Pit 1 and 2 were subject to this. WWI has clearly decided that the process is working just fine and decided to go down this track with Pits 3, 4 and 5, if not more.
So, WWI are making good bank which allows the company to be self sustaining... It's a good thing if you ask me. No annoying capital raisings and no dealing with pesky Perth brokers getting discounted shares every couple of quarters.
Meanwhile WWI goes about its core business
