I know a little about the Groote Deposit from what I have read in various public documents i.e. NT Geological Department Report on Maganese in NT for one.
The article you have posted suggests the MgO deposits lie on the West coast of Groote - FACT. It suggests that the deposits dip slightly (approx 3%) to the west - FACT. It suggests the ore was formed in a marine environment - FACT.
What is not a FACT yet is whether the MgO currently exists in large enough quanties below the current sea floor to be mined. Looking at all the documentation I have read it won't be long before this also becomes - FACT. When this becomes a FACT you have to look no further as to what WTN could be worth than the latest edition of Aust. Mining Monthly to see where the Groote MgO mines sits within Australia most richest mines list (OH yeah Number 9!). Only 7 iron ore mines (all owned by BHP & RIO) and one rather large coal mine owned by BMA sit above Groote. No base metal or gold mines - No Groote is one of a kind (maybe 2 of a kind if WTN can produce the goods).
I think WTN before to long will uncover the facts and when they do look-out!!
