Well, integrating 365 day product into a last minute interface is a challenge. Really not sure how they will do this without taking some web usability risks. It is a gamble.
Not many do it well in the online travel space - not even Expedia or Travelocity although they still manage to turn over billions!. Wotif do it very well in a 3 month window but not 1 website does it well in the 365 day sphere. This new web platform understands that and will fuse last minute and 365 day product together doing it better than anyone else from a website usability perspective. It will bring new technology to the industry.
I think Wotif will see that and may potentially look to acquire given 365 days is the missing link in there portfolio. Who knows though
