I think WPL had plenty of time......they didn't/don't believe PE rights even exist in this circumstance??? Going to make a lot of JOA's worthless in regard to PE if they win IMO.
The point is COP have nothing to lose if the notice was not compliant.......WPL have plenty to lose....at least on paper. The 35% would easily be worth double what they paid + some when 2P is booked later in the year. DB
