The asset was not able to make money during a massive mining boom with gold at almost $1900 US as the core asset in the company for how many years?
I also can only imagine what the annual rents/rates/min spend/admin would be, was it really an asset or a liability?
I know exploration can be like this, however for arguments sake if the company had given away the asset at the beginning, imagine how much money they would still have...
haha just a thought!
I prefer the current focus and consider the divestment a positive. ( also it would seem so does the market)
