I understand the thinking on building up shares to make a Takeover offer The thing is RIO have made it clear they want out I don't think it would be at a premium
The SP got to 10 cents using bugger all shares The big volume came at 10 cents Vanguard are huge In fact I wonder why they would bother with IVA
I also don't know much about Turquiose Hill and how the deal works
Ivanhoe is an offshoot of RIO with TH retaining over 50%
There must be something preventing them from taking the company over otherwise they would have before now
Not much of this makes sense
My gut feeling is the selling will continue with the buyer paying A higher price When will the selling stop and what is the buyer willing to pay
Interesting day with the copper price dropping and the AUD rising IVA held on compared to others
