Hi SensationalSib, always do your own research! i have a vested interest in WOW so my argument is biased. i think in terms of growth WOW has the advantage. ROE is much higher than WES. Growth is constant and its margins are very good that's not to say WES is a bad company. also the share price for wow has lagged in recent years thanks to the massive spike in 2006 (from memory) earings had to catch up with the share price hence the sideways pattern. the one tip i can give you is to always look at a companies current position and its (Return on Equity) and its prospects. i think Bunnings has had a monopoly in the Australian hardware sector for a while and whilst it has had first mover advantage the deal that Woolworths is bringing to the table will have enormous buying power thanks to its partnership. but in saying all this if WES fell to a price were i saw value i would buy.
wow -vs- wes ???, page-2
