Don't know about consumer issues, but that gives rise to the theory that WOW and WES r an effective oligopoly.
The AAD Dreamworld has been picked up from the East Coast of the US across the atlantic to London. No repercussions for sentiment, is governance, risk and compliance effectively managed in Australia? At the moment, the US left wing media and the News Corporation media outlets globally r reducing ASX sentiment towards WOW IMHO. WES just had a poor dead cat after a rather poor Coles and Bunnings result. Bunnings just gets where it does from exclusivity agreements, that is WOW's Masters failed IMHO. Bunnings is not really cheap, the exclusivity agreement mean suppliers and the retailer get a decent price. US anti-trust law effectively bans that practise but in Australia, totally legal under the appalling competition laws. Even ComCom in NZ has better laws to deal with competition/ anti-trust.
I mean will this Trump/ Clinton excuse for a US election have any impact on the ASX, NZX, LSE and Europe or WOW? That is the only negative sentiment globally. Its relevance to the ASX is questionable.
