To make it simple to get welded up, I reckon getting the chassis made in either stainless steel or Aluminium would mean it wouldnt need to be powdercoated. Also all the photos of the build wouldnt be photos of a rusty chassis before it went to get gal dipped or powdercoated etc.
I just reckon the extra cost in Stainless steel, or Aluminium would mean its quicker to build as dosnt need to be trailered to a powedercoater and back. Also all the welds could just be exposed welds without having to grind flush them.
Im thinking along the lines of the simplest 4x4 build platform, so people could either just buy a raw chassis off me for 10k or 20k with the body panels on, and build the rest themself, or buy it at any stage of completion.
Some people might just buy a landcruiser a few years old thats been rolled and use all the diffs and drive line to fit into this new chassis and finish it and get it Kit car approved themselves.
My Idea for it is to be able to pay for the chassis and body parts to be made, and sell them as a Kit for 4x4 nuts to buy and build their own extreme off roader.
