YR you are pissing up the wrong tree. Search isn't going to go away in a hurry. In fact, it will keep growing for years. Googling and searching is now synonymous with using the internet.
Social media will continue to grow in importance as a source of traffic for businesses, but search will be numero uno for a long long time.
