Watching Millionaire Hot Seat won't turn you into a Collingwood fan, and thinking George Clooney is handsome won't make you gay. Eating vegetables won't turn you into a vegan. And watching soccer won't turn you into a Hooligan. Heck, I even know some priest's who arent into kids.
The world is not as black and white as these arguments require in order to make any sense at all.
