will be an interesting morning tomorrow.
I have shorted the stock this afternoon 'for a trade' as I feel the recent rally won't be backed by fundamentals. However it is difficult call how market will react. The last 3 results from Baker Hughes missed estimatesby between 50% and 110% and the stock didn't really react drastically. Similarly, Schlumberger beat estimates marginally the last 3 times and the market didn't really react drastically either.
It will have very little to do with numbers and all to do with debt, cost controls and guidance.
