i went shopping today at my local Coles which is very close to my local Woolies .
the point is, both supermarkets were very busy, but the physical appearance of shoppers has me concerned.
the obesity epidemic is unashamedly out of control, but the plot thickens- if you take a peek into their overfilled shopping trolleys with Coke and potato chips, the answer becomes very clear-a price war between Coles and Woolies is unnecessary as these voracious munchers will pay anything .
in other words, just a cartel between Woolies and Coles would be the logical answer to maximize profits .
