The price of iron ore and oil had rebounded fairly strongly long before Trump came to power.
I think Trump has certainly helped, but again it just proves that swings & roundabouts drive the market you can't always predict what is going to drive the new cycle but you can bet your lefty things will turn around as long as the company still stands & makes a decent decision here and there.
