These types of articles are predictable in that it was only a matter of time until Woolies improved its numbers, it couldn't really get much worse unless they si ply kept making the same mistakes over and over again but I guess anyone who expected that to happen would not be holding WOW shares.
There's been some amazing buying opportunities into big cap Aussie businesses over the last year or so WOW has been one of them but even better was BHP, WPL another good one and all of these companies offered up a simlilar "can't get much worse" scenario with limited downside and significant upside potential IMHO.
