Hi Kashmira- first of all i must apologize for gttrains assumption that you are a male. obviously, he has been ingesting more Malt than pumpkin soup.

my local Megafresh store is stand alone and the same size as an Aldi . it has fantastic parking and the convenience is better than Woolies or Coles and on par with Aldi.
also, it has a great range of deli ,cheese, milk etc. at fantastic prices.

sure it sounds trivial when i say i can get 9 cent pumpkin compared to 80 cents at Woolies, but it relates to their whole product range-'cheap' as attested by the healthy numbers of patronage.

in other words- Woolies are supposed to be the 'fresh food people', but not only are Coles ramping up their advertising campaign and winning, but with 'little' places like Megafresh , it causes erosion of margin, possibly into the abyss of apocalypse.
