Coles is more modelled on Morrisons format with leverage off WES other businesses, i.e. Insurance. The new WOW format stores are quite impressive, if they can roll out this format and keep teh prices low they will get back some sales, but not alot as you say, the market will keep moving.

Nope Dan's was eating First Choice lunch in Liquor, WES is way behind, (to the point that they started closing some sites to reduce overheads.

Russo is a smart operator, love the Kmart model. However I am not 100% sure if he can make Target and Kmart work together as a single model across both brands. If WOW could get Russo I would buy back in.
Not sure about next GFC, lets wait and see, hopefully we see it coming prior to it hitting thi stime.
