I've had them with fans before but didn't get on with them because they rattled and resonated. I can see they will boost the output on the convection models.
The dealer that carries Cleanair didn't have much stock when I looked at them The 15 year firebox warranty is better than most.
I'm splitting mine by hand before I light the fire for a bit of exercise and because I don't have a block splitter.
