    The heated water from the boiler outside reticulates through radiators placed throughout the house. It isn't underfloor here, but can be.

    Each radiator can be switched down or off according to your heating requirements, thus reducing overall running costs. As far as the cost goes I can't really say as we have only been here for a bit over a year and ran it at too high a temperature last year and I've only just discovered that you can regulate each radiator, however I gather it is more economic than other types of gas heating.

    The radiators we have are similar to the one in this picture, but there are other designs as well.



    Especially good in bathrooms as you can hang your towel over the top to dry and be nice and hot when needing to use it. Also if you have a spare room you can drape the washing over racks and it will dry which saves on using an expensive to run tumble dryer when nothing will dry on the line outside which is the norm in the winters here.
