Adam Boland posted this early this morning on Twitter, seeming to indicate Ten's newly launched prime-time drama Wonderland has legs...

"@postboxadam Ten number 1 in prime time last night in people 25-54 and under 55s. Wonderland was number 1 of the night in 25 to 54s #TeamTen"

Obviously this doesn't speak to the greater structural problems that the Television industry as a whole have, but Ten seems to be hitting some winners: Offspring is a hit with viewers, Wonderland is off to a very positive start, This Week Live is performing well, Masterchef and The Project are both losing potency but still performing well on occasion.

On the sport side of things, Twenty20 cricket is looking good and the Rugby World Cup was a massive boon for the network. Peter Meakin working on their hard news content and Boland relaunching breakfast TV are both very promising too.

Historically, the fortunes of television networks are tied to ratings and we know that favourable ratings are cyclical to a point. This is certainly still true in the short term at least. Maybe the bottom has come and gone for TEN?
