That's my experience as well oldn'. For me it's a bit like a silent partnership in a private business, a good one at that. Over the long term the share price has generally tracked underlying value so I don't think that depth of trading has mattered too much. No one ever seems to test the market with a larger parcel, but I suspect it wouldn't be too difficult to accumulate/sell up a bigger amount if it was priced correctly. Wayne Sidwell manages to pick up a bunch from time to time.
