gday sport,
the sector has more than been thumped, I think it has been plumbed...!!!
have you compared the yearly charts of sales of all of these companies against themselves..?
if the charts have a similar peak and troughs and hold the same proportional values between the highs & lows of their respective prices, common patterns usually point to some elements in common...
(you know how it all goes with statistical & data analysis )
one thing to remember is that the game of "price manipulation(?)" either it being "goods or services" is that it usually comes undone along a long enough time line.
( fact: deep pockets are made full by acts of bastardry, and acts of criminality or unconscionable business practices are not far behind the before mentioned matter.)
"smart a#res" usually get caught because they get too greedy or get too comfortable and dont decamp the "scene of offence" early enough to avoid detection, and they always return to the scene (sometimes over & over) just to exercise some kind of "power trip or elements of control" (sociopaths especially), and this is patterned behaviour of those with these kind of personality disorders, now having said that, all you have to do is to just mention the word "gold" to bring out the best & worst in people & business, all sorts of "shenanigans & manipulation" are the order of the day when greed enters the room.
so having said all of this and using my "rat cunning"as an "ex corporate bastard / auditor", I will be hanging on to my shares in this pilbra play, you never know that showing some nerve and keeping your head up might pay some dividends once all of this price volatility has parked itself
( I bought all in @ 1.4cents )
just remember as long as you hold shares you can make yourself a pest at AGM's & other forums
( I love asking awkward questions, especially the ones that I know the answers to at business meetings,etc..., if you know what I mean...)
the colder the better,
R
ps.
the practice of paying contractors in shares/options rather than "cash or proper funds" should be discouraged if you have the capital to furnish cash payments for services supplied, having been in business myself, one major rule is, never buy into some else sh#t fight on credit or shares, cash & cash only should be used "to settle all accounts"... as "share holders" we should be making sure "our companies" do the right thing by our service providers and pay them via real funds rather than shares/options, if they are not already doing so...
