Hyro Wins Two National Awards for Mobile Services Hyro Limited ASX: HYO Hyro (ASX : HYO) announces that the company has won awards in two categories at the 2006 Mobile Marketing and Advertising Awards (“MMAs”) presented by the Australian Direct Marketing Association (“ADMA”). Hyro was awarded the MMA in the category Best Consumer Content Offering for its work to deliver the M2006 Commonwealth Games 3G content, video, data and services application for Telstra (ASX : TLS). “The M2006 Commonwealth Games 3G application was a world-first and an exciting project” said Hyro Director Mobile & Broadcast, Mr Chris Flintoft. “The Hyro team brought together live streaming video feeds of Games events, highlights packages, video archives of past events, data, news and content and consumer feedback in a system that worked like clockwork throughout the event.” “This is a truly innovative 3G mobile offering and the 2006 MMA for this work is due recognition for the efforts of the Hyro team and the commitment of our client, Telstra to continually ‘raise the bar’ for digital services and mobile innovation” Mr Flintoft said. Hyro also received the MMA for the Best Use of Mobile in Customer Relationship Management for Channel Ten’s (ASX : TEN) RPM Live Mobile Mag. This weekly mobile publication is used by the client to maintain contact with its audience between shows and provides video highlights, statistics, event information, related content and consumer engagement tools such as surveys, competitions and feedback forms. Furthermore, the nature of the RPM Live motorsports program dictates that it’s weekly timeslot for airing on free to air TV changes and so the RPM Live Mobile Mag is an important tool to advise viewers of these timeslots. This ensures that the show’s audience is retained from week to week.
“The success of the Hyro Team at the 2006 MMAs acknowledges the outstanding work these people are doing. The award-winning solutions they have provided are a great example of our Digital Services offering in action, showcasing our skills in the Wireless & Broadcast channels backed by our strong technical, creative, strategic and innovation capabilities” said Hyro Chief Operating Officer, Mr Richard Lord. “The support and commitment to excellence and innovation we receive from our clients, Telstra and Network Ten, ensures that the Hyro Team continue to deliver world-class results. Congratulations to Telstra and Network Ten and to the whole Hyro Team.” “To have followed our announcement this week of our appointment as the lead Digital Services Agency for Network Ten with a national award for some of the work we have already done together is a great start to this new phase of our relationship with Ten” Mr Lord said. Hyro was successful in winning these prestigious awards in 100% of the categories in which it was nominated.
