Hmmm .. worth reminding folks that W10 is the last edition from MS and will be upgraded to "Windows" in 2016 .. a 'subscription' job and updates/upgrades will be MANDATORY and no pay .. no gooeee !!
MS is so desperate to run this 'service' model (subscription could be $200pa) that the 'bait' is a free W10 !!
Have upgraded in 2014 to W8.1 Pro 64bit and Office SBE so not in the market presently .. but cannot see me paying $200 bucks a year PLUS an ANTIVIRUS just to run my desk !!
In Adelaide city we have Rundle Mall and an Apple shop which always seems chockers with folks (like 200 plus) and 100m further along a Hardly Normal Super store and would be lucky to see 5 people in the computer section .. sign of the times maybe.
