They say "free". Unfortunately, if you read the small print it appears that is not necessarily the case for business (which are largely using enterprise versions). Sorry business folk, pay up again for your "upgrade".
From the fine print of the Microsoft Windows 10 free upgrade page:
"Some editions are excluded: Windows 7 Enterprise, Windows 8/8.1 Enterprise, and Windows RT/RT 8.1. Active Software Assurance customers in volume licensing have the benefit to upgrade to Windows 10 enterprise offerings outside of this offer."

Elsewhere, free upgrade users of Win 10 are graced with:
- the return of the well accepted "Start Button" format (as per XP and Win 7).
- the removal of the widely disliked Metro tiles format (as per XP and Win 7).
- removal of the widely disliked full screen apps format (as per XP and Win 7).
- more pretty pixels, desktop popups and cloud 'features' to help them use your information to sell you more from their latest cloud concept.
A new internet browser as Internet Explorer is on its way to the grave.
What was the productive advancement for the majority of users since XP/Win7 again? Who cares. Sell more. Profit is king.
From a business user perspective, who should be paying who for all these about turns and "upgrades"?
