Windows 10 will be heavily adopted in the marketplace seeing that Microsoft are providing a free upgrade path from Windows 7 to Windows 8. Within the majority of business environments Windows 8 has been a massive non starter, Microsoft have even been providing additional deployment assistance for businesses to role out Windows 8 and the commercial adoption rate is still a flop. Hopefully the lessons will have been learned from Windows 8 to Windows 8.1 and the more functional familiarity of the Windows 7 GUI will be adopted in Windows 10. I am expecting to see a surge of new laptops coming out prior to Christmas with Windows 10 and a rush on sales as people have been keeping Windows 8 at arms length!
